bougie the movie

The Synopsis

DEJA is a self-absorbed, spoiled, hot, bougie girl of Nigerian descent, who wastes her father’s money on clubbing, drinks, and overly expensive dinners. She literally has nothing better to do, until her father dies and gives his wealth to charity.

Deja is caught off guard and is forced to “rough it” by getting a job, GASP! Using her looks and sassy personality, she soon lands a job at “Sports Talk,” a poor man’s ESPN, even though she hates sports and doesn’t know anything about it.

This is where she meets her nemesis, MARC, the quick-witted, no-nonsense every-man with Boston swag, who doesn’t put up with her millennial BS and makes her earn her spot. Deja, a fish out of water, is challenged to learn the value of hard work without solely relying on her looks.
